A friend of mine has a business called Gypsy Camp Creations. She also has a blog, and a booth at the Portland Saturday Market, in Portland, Oregon. She makes beautiful bags, and other things too! Check her out at gypsycampcreations.com. She has links to her daughter’s blogs there. They are both very talented, as well.
You have to check out Mely Mel’s blog! It’s so great. She makes the most amazing miniatures! I was told about this blog by another blogger, plushpussycat, so I checked it out. I think her things are truly works of art. I’m sure you’ll enjoy them as much as I did.
My daughter’s blog is full of beautiful things that she crochets, knits, designs and cooks! You need to check it out and see how cute it is! She’s the one that showed me how to set up my own blog (thanks Sweetie), so that I could show everyone all the things that I make. Anyway hers is peculiarcrochet.wordpress.com. She and I do a lot of crafting together. We’ve done craft bazaars together for the last twelve years!
It’s a lot of fun. We both really love it.
If you like Hello Kitty, you should check out the free Hello Kitty giveaway on my friend Jennifer’s blog. Just go to http://plushpussycat.com and follow the instructions on how to enter to win the giveaway. While you’re there, check out her blog. It’s extremely creative and very, very cute! I have the priviledge of getting to see her create some of her little characters at Craft Circle at the Sellwood Library.
If you are interested in joining Craft Circle, we usually meet on the second and fourth Sunday of every month (except December), at the Sellwood Library, in Portland, Oregon, from 2-4pm. Any craft, any age. Just bring your stuff and craft with us. There is no fee to participate.
